The Civic Recreation Center, Sarasota's an-
swer to fun-loving and recreation seeking
visitors, annually attracts thousands to its
modern facilities for entertainment and fun.
It overlooks beautiful Sarasota Bay and con-
tains a Municipal Auditorium, and shuffle-
board, tennis, bowling on the green, archery,
and other sports' facilities besides spacious
Recreation Club headquarters and "Childsey
Annex" for visitors' social life. The fountain
is colorfully illuminated at night.
