Developed by the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority, five-county park and parkway agency, it is the largest and finest fresh water beach of its kind. This 550-acrepark is along Lake St. Clare, 5 miles east of Mt. Clemens and 22 miles northeast of downtown Detroit. Features include a food bar, 55 acres if sandy beach, boardwalk, marina and a variety of recreational facilities. Open year-round.
