| This plant is located seven miles south of Monticello. Construction was started in September 1924 and the plant was placed in service in November 1925. Freeman Lake, which was formed by the dam. Has a length of 12 miles with an area of 2,000 acres. The normal yearly output is 30,000,000 kilowatt hours. |
