HARRISBURG, PENNA.
SUNSET ON THE SUSQUEHANNA RIVER
The Susquehanna, flowing from New York State to the
Chesapeake Bay, lazily shuffles past Harrisburg at a
normal depth of four feet, with a width of about three-
quarters of a mile.
Harrisburg is sheltered by mountains and in the eve-
ning as the rays of the setting sun reflect upon the rip-
pling river, the unrivaled spectacle of the dying day is
revealed in an atmosphere of natural grandeur.
