THE LIBERTY CAP is a rock formation which bears
a remarkable resemblance to the object from which it takes
its name. It is the cone of an extinct spring and stands
forty-five feet high and twenty feet in dianieter at the base.
As is evident, the feat of scaling it is out of the question
for the average tourist.
