Home of R. J. Funkhouser, wealthy industrialist, Claymont Court, Charles town, W. Va. Is one of the most impressive show places of the section. It was built in 1820 by Bushrod C. Washington, great nephew of George Washington, and restored by Mr. Funkhouser several years ago.
