THE HAUNT OF THE LOBSTERMAN. The majority of
the markets of the country are supplied with lobsters from
Maine. Lobsters are caught in traps made of latks, about
three feet long, baited with fish, and submerged by heavy
weights. Twice daily these traps are pulled, the catch varying
according to weather conditions.
