GEN. CROOK MEMORIAL AT ARLINGTON.
Erected to the memory of Gen. George Crook. The tablet on
the face of the monument depicts that world-renowned incident -
the surrender of the Apache Indians under Chief Geronimo to
Gen. Crook in the Sierra Madre Mountains, Mexico, in 1883.
