This building, named in honor of
James H. Binford, the first Superin-
tendent of Schools of Richmond, was
erected in 1915 at a cost of $200,000. It
has accommodations for 1,450 pupils.
and 54 teachers. There are 42 class
rooms besides offices, auditorium, cafe-
teria, shops, basements, etc.
