The Weirs gets its name from the fish traps called
"weirs", which the Algonquin Indians used to set in the
lake. All summer long the Weirs Beach Publicity Bureau
puts on Water Ski Shows, Firework Shows, Barber Shop-
pers, Band Concerts and other activities, at this
