BLACKFORD COUNTY COURTHOUSE
Hartford City, Indiana
The cornerstone for this beautiful courthouse
was laid with appropriate ceremonies on Nov-
ember 3, 1893. The building was completed in
1894, at a total cost of $129,337.83. This in-
cluded furniture. The outside walls are con-
structed of Amherst stone quarried in Lorain
county, Ohio.
