PILGRIM MONUMENT
TOWN HILL
PROVINCETOWN, CAPE COD, MASS.
The monument was erected to commemorate
the landing of the pilgrims in the New World on
Nov. 11, 1620.
Height of the tower is 252 feet 72 inches.
Top of the monument is 352 feet above sea
level.
There are 116 stairs and 60 ramps.
It is the tallest all granite structure in the United
States and is built wholly of Maine granite.
Every stone is of the entire thickness of the
wall. View from the top is superb.
