TYRANNOSAURUS REX -
Tyrannosaurus Rex, "King of the tyrant lizards," was the
largest flesh eater ever to trod the earth. It lived at the
close of the Cretaceous Period, which marks the disappear-
ance of all dinosaur life. A large adult attained a length
of forty feet, and stood 20 feet in height. His enormous
head was armed with seventy-two daggerlike teeth, six
inches long.
This Dinosaur designed and built at Dinosaur Park, Rapid
City, S. Dakota by the famous Sculptor, Emmet Sullivan.
