THE PLAZA
Mesilla, New Mexico
The plaza is the site of the signing of the
Gadsden Purchase treaty in 1853. The Mexican
Flag is crossed with the Stars and Stripes on
the band stand in the center of the plaza. St.
Albino Catholic Church is in the background.
