MESILLA BOOK CENTER
Mesilla, New Mexico
This historic building was a General Store in
the days of "Billy the Kid." The construction,
which is carefully preserved, includes 36 inch
thick adobe walls, exposed vegas in the ceilings
and six working fireplaces. It now houses the
Mesilla Book Center, a full sized bookstore
which specializes in General Southwestern Lit-
erature and books on Mesilla and nearby.
