Hollywood Park's infield of six lakes, a million flow-
ers, 500 swans and geese and one Goose Girl, the
beauty queen who reigns in solitary splendor over this
colorful scene, provides a setting of rare beauty for
its annual Thoroughbred racing season during May,
June and July. This view looks across one of the lakes
into the commodious stands which are more than a
third of a mile long.
