Horse-Drawn Streetcar
Additional Details:
The only horse-drawn streetcar in America rolls around the plaza in Old Albuquerque. Originally built to run from the plaza to the new railroad in the early 1890's, the car has been restored and is now a famous conveyance in the Old Town Historical Zone. The Church in the background is St. Felipe de Neri built in 1706 from adobe blocks. Regular services are still held here. Tichnor Bros. Inc. |
