Lake Doran

| Lake Doran, or Stockade Lake, 3 miles east of Custer, S. D. on Highway 16, is a scenic game-fish lake. The name "Stockade" comes from the old fort build by early settlers at this point. Picnic grounds complete with fireplaces surround the lake. Backgrounds are the scenic "Needles" of granite, and lofty Harney Peak. |
