Crawford County Courthouse
Additional Details:
This attractive Roman brick Indiana limestone structure built in 1957, comfortably houses the county government in efficient, well-lighted offices. English became the county seat on April 13, 1896 when a wagon train of farmers and townsmen, armed with pitchforks and shotguns, descended at dawn on Leavenworth, an important river town, captured the county records, and hauled them back to English.
