One of the eight commands located aboard the Naval Air Station, Memphis is the Headquarters for the Chief of Naval Air Technical Training, who directs a vast technical training program with schools and detachments. The Naval Air Station is also host command to the largest inland activity within naval aviation, the Memphis naval Air Technical Training Center.
