Point Loma Light

No. 45 in UNION OIL COMPANY'S Natural Color Photographic Scenes of the West. NEAR the spot where Point Loma Light (San Diego) now stands, Cabrillo became the first white man to set foot on American soil when he and his party landed in 1542, The light was officially illuminated in 1855 and served until 1891.
