THE TRANSPORTATION BUILDING
Trees, shrubs, flowers and flags lend a gay atmosphere
to the splendid Transportation Building. The oval struc-
ture in the center will contain a focal exhibit on transporta-
tion presenting, by a series of activated displays, the story
of transportation from the foot path to the rocket car.
Unique pylons beside the oval structure, each bearing in
large letters the word “Transportation," identify the build-
ing. The architect is James Gamble Rogers.
