This two-million dollar student activity center was built
by students for students. Fees and revenue from the
store and snack bar cover operating costs. Privately-held
bonds sold by the U. of Mass. Building Association will
be eventually paid off and the building will be owned
by the state at no cost to the taxpayer. Facilities include
a ballroom, lounges, television rooms, bowling alley,
student offices and several small dining rooms.
