The State Capitol Building, hub of the Florida Capitol
Center at Tallahassee, was started over 100 years
ago.
The final section, a new south wing, was com-
pleted in 1947. The building now houses offices of
the Governor, members of the State Cabinet, and
chambers of the State Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives.
