Customer's Problem: Raising approximately 8,000
C.F.M. of air from 190 to 425°F. for use in an indus-
trial drying process. Fuel to be natural gas with
#2 oil as "stand-by".
Hauck's answer: A completely packaged air heater
unit with burner, pilot, pressure regulators, control
valves and motor, safety shut-off valves, pressure
switches, and provisions for flame supervision pre-
piped and wired to a burner junction box.
burner is a WRC 571 Wide Range Burner Unit with
a capacity of 2,300,000 Btu/hr when firing either
natural gas or #2 fuel oil. The main body of the air
heater is constructed of two concentric cylindrical
steel shells separated by four inches of insulation.
