The Moqui tribe is one of the most interesting of American Indians. It is best known through the famous Snake Dance - a purely religious ceremony. The usual costume worn by the females consists of one garment - a single piece of homespun woolen cloth - wrapped around the body and tied at the waist with a gorgeous sash.
