A Moqui Indian Girl. The Moqui tribe is one of the
most interesting of American Indians. It is best known
through the famous Snake Dance-a purely religious
ceremony. The usual costume worn by the females
consists of one garment-a single piece of brown homespun
woollen cloth-wrapped around the body and tied at the
waist with a gorgeous sash.
