EFE ALL AMERICAN CANAL This 'Big Ditch' is 80 miles long, The largest sect- ion is 250 feet wide and 20.6 ft. deep. The branch to Coachella Val- ley is 130 miles long. A Part of the Boulder Canyon project, costing $33,000,000.00 It was placed in commission on October 12, 1940 The name is from the fact that the canal is built entirely in the United States.
