MCCOMB, MISSISSIPPI
In 1949, a Methodist minister, formerly
a missionary in Korea, suggested to the
local newspaper that McComb people
light their Azaleas. In the Springtime,
McComb's lighted Azalea Trail is one
of the tourist attractions of Dixie.
