HENRY RAY LAMBERT CHEROKEE INDIAN
Cherokee Indian Reservation, North Carolina. On
the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National
Park lives the Eastern Band of the Cherokees.
Numbering more than 3000 today they are
descendants of those Cherokees who fled to
the fastness of the Great Smokies when the
Cherokee Nation was removed
removed to Oklahoma
in 1838.
