BAKERSFIELD CIVIC AUDITORIUM
Bakersfield's beautiful civic auditorium and con-
vention center, completed in 1962 at a cost of
over five million, provides the setting for a great
variety of civic, sports, business and entertain-
ment activities. The concert hall has permanent
deep cushioned seating for 3041 persons. The
arena, with 4200 portable seats, is ideal for
sports events, also offers up to 30,000 feet of
floor space for trade shows and exhibits. There
are meeting rooms tailored to suit large or small
groups. Banquets and dinners for 500 to 2500
are served with ease. For maximum seating, an
accoustical wall between concert hall and arena
