Mt. Washburn Lookout

59KOOI-HAYNES STUDIOS INC., BOZEMAN, MONTANA Mt. Washburn Lookout is on the 10,243-foot summit of the highest point in Yellowstone National Park, reached by road. The stone Look- out, built in 1921, was replaced by the present structure, in 1940. The road up the north slope to the summit was reopened in 1959, after being closed for several years. (REG. U. S.
