of the Bringing of Religious Liberty into the Colony
of Maryland.
Stands near spot where in 1634 Leonard Calvert
made treaty with Indians when first settlers landed
from England.
Site granted by State of Maryland to the Church
in 1721.
Built in 1829 of bricks taken from Maryland's first
State House.
