A CENTURY OF PROGRESS
CHICAGO'S 1933 INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION
This is a topographic model in exact scale (1:300) of the
Nikko District, the most celebrated tourist center in
Japan, where the wonderful natural scenery and mag-
nificent architectural beauty are in perfect harmony.
Kegon Waterfall and Lake Chuzenji constitute prominent
features of the scenery. The group of shrine buildings,
built 300 years ago in honor of leyasu, the founder of
the Tokugawa Shogunate, is gorgeously decorated.
