THE THOMPSON-NEELY HOUSE
Washington Crossing Park, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
Part of this beautiful house dates back to 1701 and was
built by John Pidcock, the first white settler in this region.
During the Revolutionary War, Washington held many
conferences here with Lord Stirling, Captain James Moore,
and Lieutenant James Monroe, later President of the United
States. This dwelling is now a museum open to the public.
