Gateway to the scenic San Juan Islands. Thousands of
visitors depart from this city annually on a Washington
State Ferry to view the wonders of the fabulous San Juan
Islands and to continue on to Sidney, Vancouver Island.
Anacortes has long been noted for its prominence in the
Lumber Industry and now is becoming a center for Oil
Refineries which are located here now.
