ESP-47
FORT CASEY
WASHINGTON STATE PARK
Whidby Island was established during the 1890's for
the defense of Puget Sound. Its guns were never fired
in anger, and most were scrapped during 1942-43.
Two 10" guns from Fort Winton Subic Bay in the
Philippines - Bearing Japanese Bombing Scars - were
installed during 1968.
