Princeton, Mercer County, New Jersey
Settled in 1696, Princeton was at first a stopping
place for coaches between New York and Phila. Here
on Jan. 3, 1777 General Washington rallied his tired
troops to victory over the superior armed British.
Today, Princton is one of New Jersey's finest
residential communities, the home of Princeton
University, and leading research organizations.
