KANSAS STATE CAPITOL
Topeka, Kansas
The beautiful state capitol, although started in 1866,
was not completed until 37 years later. The building
includes many objects of interest to tourists, includ-
ing the famous Kansas Murals by John Steuart Curry.
The dome, which is open to sightseers, is 304 feet
high.
