EASTHAM WINDMILL
EASTHAM on CAPE COD
mill was built sometime before 1700 at Ply-
h. The old mill was dismantled and shipped
is the bay, probably in 1788 and reassembled
the end of the Cape to grind corn meal. In
the mill was taken apart and hauled by oxen
s present location. Here it was used to grind
for fishermen and farmers. Now fully re-
d in Eastham Windmill Park, it is the oldest
able grist mill on Cape Cod.
