In two segments, the first to mid mountain and the second
from there to the summit, the Skimobile carries skiers in
winter and sightseers during the summer and autumn
seasons to the 1,664 ft. summit of Mt. Cranmore. This
autumn panorama of the snowcapped Presidential Range
is from a mid mountain vantage point. The summit provides
spectacular views in all directions. Opened in 1938 and in
operation for over 50 years, the Skimobile is the only lift of
its kind in the world.
