THE LA CROSSE COUNTY COURT HOUSE
was completed in 1905 and cost $189,000. It is a fireproof
structure, built of red sandstone and granite; the interior is of
marble and steel, its principal feature of beauty being a gorgeous
light well from basement to dome. The Court House is
equipped with steel furniture throughout.
