One of the oldest state institutions in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, dedicated to the cure of United States veterans. Originally built to care for the G.A.R. and is now housing veterans of the Spanish American War, the Boxer Rebellion and other federal engagements as well as the Great World War.
