MISSION IN THE SUN, TUCSON, ARIZONA
This little church in the Santa Catalina Mountains north of
Tucson is Arizona artist De Grazia's expression of beauty,
simplicity and faith. It is lighted by luminarias on the eve of
the birthday of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patron saint of the
Yaqui Indians, in whose honor the mission was built. The
indians celebrate the day at all their churches with native
dances and a day long fiesta.
