Clam digging in February. We stopped at the foot of
the Beach Ramp at Pismo on our way to photograph the
clammers down the sixteen miles of beautiful beach. The
party here had nearly found their limits of the delicious
bivalve and moments later were frolicking in the waves
toward the pier in the background. Even the fish were
enjoying the beautiful February weather at Pismo this
day. Fishermen on the Pismo pier were trying to keep
the small fry off their hooks by using heavy loads of bait.
