This is the site of the Mineral Spring which
for centuries has been the shrine and gathering
place of the Cahuilla Indians. These Indians fit-
tingly named the "Agua Caliente" Tribe found
health, rejuvenation and curative help by drinking
and bathing in the "magic" waters which rise
from unknown depths. Still owning this historic
site, the Agua Caliente Tribe has entrusted to the
Palm Springs Spa, Inc.,-the scientific control and
application of its precious hot waters and their
benificial elements.
