THE FRIZZELL STAGECOACH
This Concord Coach (American stage-
coach) was built following the Civil War
by the Abbot-Downing Company, Con-
cord, New Hampshire. It was used during
the post Civil War period by the Pay-
master-General of the army and the pay-
master of the Indian Department to carry
passengers, mail and the payrolls between
Fort Sill and Darlington, Indian Territory.
Later it was used by Major Gordon W.
Lillie in his Wild West show. It has been
completely restored by its owner, Mr. John
D. Frizzell, 3321 North Virginia, Oklahoma
City, Okla.
