THE CAPTAIN'S COURTYARD-This peaceful patio, resplendent with
colorful lawn furniture and parasols, is a very popular gathering-place
during the summer months. The bronze statue of Captain Fred Pabst, a
son-in-law of one of the brewery founders, stands at the outside of the
cloister walk. This statue honors one of the "great names" in Milwaukee's
world-famous brewing industry.
