DOME CIRCLE.
The circular balustrade is of marble imported from
France and Greece. The four wall forming piers
which support the dome are of Kasota stone. In
each of the piers is a niche intended for statuary.
The statue in the niche to the right is that of Col.
Wm. Colville. The panels above the piers are a
series entitled, "The Civilization of the Northwest".
