1,000 acres of land at
Mooseheart, near Chi-
cago.
On July 27th, 1913,
the Honorable Thomas
R. Marshall, Vice-
President of the Unit-
ed States, dedicated
this ground to be used
for the care of widows,
dependent children and
aged members of the
Order. Here a great
home and school is be-
ing established. One
and one-half millions of
dollars has already been
spent. Each member of
the Order contributes
$1.00 annually for the
maintenance of this
school and home. The
above picture shows a
bird's-eye view of
Mooseheart, as it will
appear when complet-
ed to its full capacity
of 5000 boys and girls.
At present about 400
children are being
cared for.
