Additional Details:
The Great Mormon Temple, the most interesting structure in Salt Lake City, stands upon what is known as the east side of the Temple Block, upon the identical spot designated by President Young on the day that the Pioneers arrived in the valley of the Great Salt Lake, July 24, 1847. The building was completed at a cost of nearly four million dollars and was dedicated April 16th, 1893, by President Woodruff.
